Fleet Street

This pub was previously home to the old Law Courts branch of the Bank of England between 1888 and 1975.

This major refurbishment included conversion of the strong room under the rear courtyard into a new modern cooled cellar, and extensive restoration of the main building’s ornate gilded ceiling.

The courtyard was redesigned for outside dining, with a modified Route Master bus craned into the area, providing a unique external bar.

Modern features included the installation of an efficient commercial kitchen, a new main electrical panel, and sympathetic installation of a VRV air conditioning system around the building’s historic features.
