The existing children’s inpatient, day surgery, and A&E facilities for this hospital required both expansion and refurbishment to meet the increasing demands of the local catchment area.
Working to a tight budget and the client’s desire for cost reduction, we delivered a high-quality project by utilising existing functional equipment where possible, by sourcing alternate suppliers and by finding value engineered solutions.
Works included the creation of new consultant rooms, expansion of the A&E area, new offices and new trolley bays.
A new Day Unit was constructed on the third floor, incorporating modern kitchen, bathroom and bed facilities for inpatients and parents.
