Director & Company Secretary

Lee has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, 20 as a Director of SW Bruce & Co. Ltd.

Primarily accountability for the company’s Banking, Healthcare and Local Authority Framework Contracts, he manages the strategic aspects of the resultant programmes of work.

In common with the other directors, Lee adopts a very hands-on approach, keeping a close watching brief on his portfolio of projects.

His key responsibilities include the commercial direction of the organisation, strategic and resource planning, and top-level client reporting and liaison.

Matt Revens

Commercial Director

Matt Revens is a Chartered Building Surveyor with over 35 years of post-qualification experience. His wide expertise and experience includes design, specification and project management.

Matt has worked extensively both in private practice and client side, giving him the unique insight invaluable in assuring successful project delivery.

In addition to overseeing the commercial aspects of our prospective and key contracts, Matt frequently manages the bridging role between project design and delivery.

For over a decade, Matt has successfully spearheaded the delivery of a refurbishment framework contract for a major client portfolio of London based commercial and residential properties

As well as managing the strategic aspects of the Company’s direction, Richard also heads up the Commercial and Hospitality divisions of the organisation.

Under his direction, our team of Directors are responsible for major refurbishment works for offices, pubs, restaurants and hospitals.

Richard has over 30 years’ experience within the building industry, and a wealth of construction knowledge in all sectors of the commercial markets. He actively manages key client relationships and takes ultimate responsibility for the financial aspects of the company’s tendering processes

Nigel specialises in the planning and delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary, high quality refurbishment programmes.

He has a professional engineering background and 27 years of construction industry experience at all levels, from trade skills to site and project management.

Nigel has outstanding problem-solving abilities and is passionate about quality of delivery and collaboration.

He has developed management teams for many of our key clients. He closely oversees all elements of framework and client requirements to ensure that continuity and quality of service are achieved, tailoring the procurement and supply chain to suit the needs of the individual client.

Russell Stimpson

Operations Director

Russell is an extremely versatile and professional individual with a strong understanding of client commercial objectives and project requirements.

From his management of a variety of SW Bruce projects, including the restoration of the London Museum of Water & Steam and the refurbishment of luxury housing, Russell has very broad hands-on experience of the senior project management role, becoming a director of SW Bruce in 2021.

In addition to his operational role, he is currently responsible for our accounts with McMullen & Sons Ltd, the Barbican, and our Educational sector.

Rob Cook

Operations Director

A professional engineer, Rob has over 25 years’ experience of providing building fabric and engineering technical services to the Property Services Division of a major UK bank.

He has resultant first-hand experience of active input into global fabric and M&E investment projects at design, development and project sign-off stages; ensuring the delivery of quality, value and performance and the management of risk.

In addition to his professional engineering qualification, Rob is also a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineers, IOSH and MCIBSE
