Our Story
SW Bruce & Co. Ltd was founded in 1945 by Stan Bruce providing French Polishing services to high street shops and banks.
Right from the start, the company’s development has been founded on a strong reputation for quality delivery and a flexible approach to client and project demands.
In the early 1960’s, Stan’s son-in-law, Dave Messling, became a partner, and the company grew by adding specialist joinery and building works to its service offering.
In 1998, the company incorporated with Dave’s sons, Richard and Lee Messling, as the current active directors.
SW Bruce Today
Over the years, the company has expanded to provide a full range of multi-disciplinary building refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance services to the public sector and to a broad range of commercial, industrial, leisure and healthcare sector clients.
Today, the principal aims of the company remain to maintain enduring relationships with existing long-term clients, and to develop new customer relationships by providing high quality, high value, building refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance services.
